Warwick, Rhode Island
Sill Replacement and Foundation Repairs To Captain Peter Greene House
Deteriorated structural sills and foundation caused the exterior walls of the 1750 Captain Peter Greene House to drop two to eight inches. These failures resulted in extensive damage to the interior of the house. Warped floor boards, cracked plaster and masonry were just a few of the resulting problems.
Through the use of hydraulic jacks, posts and temporary lifting panels, tied into the timber frame structure, we were able to lift the house. With the weight of the house off the sills and foundation we were able to make necessary repairs.
