Highland Restoration, Inc. specializes in reproduction of historic architectural millwork, mouldings, cabinets, and other built-in (or not built-in) furniture to match existing architectural styles. We are often called upon to modify an original cabinet or other piece of furniture to serve a new use while preserving the integrity of the style. Where new work is part of a general alteration or addition to the existing period work, we are skilled at matching profiles, materials and finishes to make sure the transition from old to new is seamless.
In order to be accountable for the satifactory performance of our work, we maintain a full service, in house, fabrication facility, producing all necessary architectural millwork ourselves. We can furnish faithful, accurate, reproduction of any necessary historic architectural elements including wood window sash, casework, paneling, doors, period mouldings, and stair cases.
